Curcumin is a component in turmeric, which gives it the yellowish color. And research has proven that it has powerful anti-cancer benefits. Studies show that there are lower rates of cancer in places where people consume 1 to 2 teaspoons of turmeric daily.
More than 2,000 thousand studies show that curcumin fights different types of cancer including colon, breast, prostate, liver, pancreas, lung and more.
Most of these studies show that curcumin stops cancer cells from dividing. It has also been found to kill cells – it basically helps the body get rid of damaged cells. And it’s much better than chemo or cancer drugs (which have numerous side effects) since it kills cancer cells without hurting healthy cells.
One study found that combining chemotherapy with curcumin killed more cancer cells than using chemotherapy alone. Other studies have also shown that curcumin stops the spread of breast, colon, osteosarcoma, and prostate cancer.

Increase the bioavailability of curcumin
It’s hard to get enough curcumin in our diet since it’s not highly bioavailable. Basically, our bodies don’t absorb a lot of curcumin when ingested alone. So you need to combine it with healthy fats for proper absorption. Combine it with:
Coconut oil, or
Extra virgin olive oil
You’ll experience more anti-cancer benefits when you combine curcumin with these oils since it’ll easily be absorbed in the body. Don’t use it with vegetable oil.
According to experts, piperine, a compound in black pepper, increases absorption of curcumin by 2,000 percent.
